Today’s question to Dear Crochetpreneur was brought to us by Courtney from Creations by Courtney. Be sure to check out her website and shop with great contemporary crochet designs.
On today’s episode, I’ll be answering the question, “What main areas would you suggest focusing on for a crochetpreneur that works full-time with small children and a spouse? Are there any areas that offer the largest impact when time is limited?“
After you take a listen, be sure to check out these few tips below for finding time for your crochet business even with the tightest of schedules. I’ve also linked to some of my favorite resources for learning time management and productivity strategies.

Finding Time for Your Crochet Business Tasks
Time is a tricky thing isn’t it? Each day, every single one of us is given the exact same 24-hour time period to work with. There are some who use that time to move mountains, to change lives, or to raise the next generation of thought-leaders.
There are some who will use that time to browse the internet, inspect their navel, and chase squirrels until the light of day dims.
Alas, there are so many of us who wake each morning, determined to accomplish the former but….
SQUIRREL!
…end up wasting hour upon hour on the latter.
It’s not that the people who are fulfilling their dreams and living out their purpose are particularly special or destined or gifted with super powers.
No, they’re actually real people, just like you and me…the squirrel-chasers.
Instead, typically, they are people who have found a way to be productive despite the squirrels and time-suckers lurking everywhere. These people have found a system that works for them, they are intentional about how they spend their time, and they’ve developed workflows that keep them focused and on track throughout the day.
And, most have even found time to enjoy their success by turning off at the end of the day and being present with their lives and loved-ones. Revolutionary, isn’t it?!
Are you one of the thousands of crochet business owners who struggle to manage your time and be as productive as you’d like to be?
