MATERIALS

 J/10-6.00mm hook
Size 4 yarn, one skein.  I used Heart Land by Lionbrand

STITCHES USED

  • CH: Chain
  • SC: single crochet
  • DC: double crochet
  • SL: slip stitch
  • ST(s): stitch/stitches

PATTERN DETAILS

    • Measurements: Around 24” around neck (rows 1-7) 17” long

Pattern Stitches

V Stitch: dc ch 1 dc in the same stitch

Bobble Stitch: Yarn over and go in the st 4X there should be 9 loops on the hook then pull through.

Ch 72 and join to make a circle

Row 1-7: ch 2 dc all around and join

Row 8: ch 4, dc in the same st, *skip 2 sts, dc, ch 1 dc in the same st* repeat, join to the third chain up (pic #2)

Row9: ch2 *sc ch1 sc in the ch1 space, sc next st * repeat and join. (Pic #4)

Row 10: slip st to the ch1 space, Ch 4, dc in same st, dc in the next ch 1 space, ch1 dc in the same st, dc in the next ch1 space, bobble st of 4,* repeat until the end and join

Row 11: repeat row 9

Row 12: sl st into next ch 1 space and ch 4 dc in same st, *dc, ch 1, dc in the next st* repeat 9x, 2 dc, ch 2, 2dc in the next ch 1 space, (that’s your increase) * dc ch1 dc in the next ch 1 space* repeat 11x and join

Row 13: repeat row 9 up until the center increase, sc, ch1, sc in between the 2 dc, sc ch2 sc in the ch2 space, repeat row 9 and join

Row 14: sl st into the ch1 space, ch 4 dc in the same st,*dc, ch1, dc in the next ch 1 space, dc, bubble st , dc in the next ch1 space, dc ch 1 dc in the next ch 1 space* repeat (2 V sts and a bobble) you’ll end with 2 V sts, go to the center and do and increase inside the chain one space and continue a V st in the next 2 ch 1 spaces, do a bobble sts in the next ch1 space and repeat, you’ll have 2 V sts before joining.

Row 15: Repeat row 13

Row 16: sl st to the ch1 space, ch4 do V sts throughout the whole row in all the ch1 spaces until you get to the center and do the increase continue with V sts until the end of the row and join.

Row 17: Repeat row 13

Row 18: repeat row 14 you’ll have one Vst before the center increase. After the increase do a V st in the next ch 1 space then a bobble st and repeat the 2 V sts and bobble until the end and join. (Pic #8)

Row 19: repeat for 13

Row 20: repeat row 16

Row 21: repeat row 13

Row 22: repeat row 14 before the increase you’ll have a bubble st, after the increase continue the pattern with a bubble st, then 2 V sts, and a bubble st, repeat until end of row and join.

Row 23: repeat row 13

Row 24: repeat row 16

Row 25: repeat row: 13

Row 26: repeat row 14

Row 27: repeat row 13

Row 28: repeat row 16

Row 29: ch 2 go into the ch 1 space and do a sc, ch3, sc, sc between the two V sts, repeat all around and join. Cut your yarn weave in your end.

For the cord with a smaller hook make a ch that’s about 38”. Then add it to your snood go in and out of every 2 sts on the first row leaving 3 sts in between the entrance and exit.

  1. Can you please break down row 12 please? Am I doing the dc, ch 1, dc in the first nine stitches and then the increase and then dc, ch 1, dc again 11 times in the ch 1 space? Im so confused with this row only. I love this pattern but I need help please

      I hope you found the information you were looking for. At the bottom of this triangle cowl pattern, it has a link to the designer’s website and social media accounts. Her business name is JanKnits Crochet. Since this is a guest designer’s pattern, I haven’t worked it up so I don’t have a good answer for you. I’m so sorry! I hope you were able to work thought it!
